A story of change
September 2011. I have 20 years’ HR experience in multinationals, have developed many team and leadership programmes and followed enriching courses such as the Master HRM (Vlerick) and the ACTP Coach Certification programmes (Training & Coaching Square). Nevertheless…
Nevertheless, I swap my well-paid HR job for an uncertain future as a self-employed coach and trainer. First under the wings of a top coaching organisation, later by setting up my own company. Virtually simultaneously I go through a dramatic loss experience and nothing appears certain. I experience how difficult, confrontational and enriching transition is. And it gets me thinking.
Transition as a mission
As an executive coach and trainer, I have observed for a long time that companies cope with change increasingly effectively, but that transition – their employees’ personal adjustment process – often remains under the radar. With all the related consequences.
I decide to do something about it and set up In Transition to support transition in companies. Courses such as Transformational Presence and leadership Coaching, Systemic coaching, E-coaching and Insights Discovery Practitioner complement my accreditation as a ICF Master Certified Coach, to this very day. Self-responsibility, you know what I mean ; )
